Forever Young

I sit here
Amongst all the shadows -
A reminder of myself.
I sit in light
On top of a sphere,
My sword hanging by my side
Like a faithful companion.
After all of these years
I shouldn't really react;
She changes everything.
She may free me
From my inverted prison
That they all look at in awe,
Not knowing what dwells within,
The suffering and pain I've dwelled.
I pull through,
Like I always have,
Knowing that I will knock her down
In the End,
Like I always have.
But I will lend my strength
To her, my Princess,
Because while I live forever,
I am forever young.
