Ohtori Academy Board of Directors Quarterly Update (excerpt)
Summer 196x

Members of the Board:

It is with great displeasure that I must announce the resignation of a valuable 
member of the Board and a most trustworthy individual: Chida Tokiko. Following 
the unfortunate death of her brother, she has decided to resign from the Board 
to pursue other interests. We have offered her a plot in the Ohtori cemetery, an 
offer that she gratefully accepted. She has been a most valuable asset to the 
Board by providing us with information on the management and other inner 
workings of the Academy. We must also not forget that it was Chida-san who set 
into motion the decision to allow girls to attend the Academy. Chida-san's 
efforts will be realized at the beginning of the next term. We wish the best of 
luck to Chida-san.

Members of the Board:

It has been x years since the introduction of female students into the Academy. 
Due to a provision set in place by former Board Member Chida Tokiko, it has been 
decided that a female student is to be selected to represent the Academy's 
female population. She is to carry out this duty as a member of the Student 
Council. The girl to whom this honor will be bestowed will be judged on a 
combination of academic and extracurricular standing, as well as a display of 
leadership and organizational skills.
